Welcome to the burgerblog. 

As I was away from vancouver in the last few weeks I decided to take the burger blog on the road in case anyone of you readers end up in one of the destinations I was in. 

This blog is about an amazing burger I had in a place called Dukes in Cleveland's House in the Maskuka's in Ontario.

I found the burger restaurant by pure luck as I came to Cleveland's house to watch a wake boarding show. 

Once I sat down and got ready to watch a few crazy guys jumping off ramps a familiar smell sneaked into my nose. 

Well hello to you too Mr grill my nose said to my brain.

With no further ado I started walking toward this cool burger shack on the dock. 

Inside I found a long grill occupied by 3 different grill masters. 


 

That put a smile on my face. 

I looked through the menu which was made out of hamburgers only; that also put a smile on my face. 

I choose to go with the French Laundry. 

A 100% Ontario AAA beef ground fresh and packed daily and most importantly grilled to order. 

The French Laundry comes with truffle mayonnaise Dijon mustard grilled onions blue cheese and arugula on sea salt and olive oil fuccacia. 


 

To seal the deal I went with a type of fries I have never had before. 

Garlic fries - hand cut fries tossed in garlic butter and parsley. 

To summarize this culinary experience  I will say that they sure do know how to make hamburgers in cottage country. 

The fuccacia bread was grilled and warmed to my liking. 

The sauces were in the right amount. 

The patty was grilled medium rear to my request and last but not least the fries were amazing !!!!

A small side note/ disclaimer to how much I liked my hamburger is that with out noticing I finished my hamburger and fries only to realized that I forgot to take a picture of it so the photo attached to this post is a photo I took of a guy who sat beside me and had another kind of hamburger which I choose not to go with.

To rank the place on an overall rating it will get a total of 8 stars out of 10.
