Beware of strata fraud.
Ben Amzaleg speaks about a recent fraud that took place in one of the downtown buildings he sold a unit in.
A so called insurance company mailed the entire building claiming that they have been endorsed by the strata corporation and because of that will give the owners a special rate.
A few owners called the number attached and gave their private information which was lated discovered to be a fraud.
Next time just call the strata president and ask before you give your private information
